Speaking Events
When I speak, favorite topics include biblical backgrounds, gender, women in the visual record of the church, specific books of the Bible, bioethics, current events, and cultural engagement. I also love talking in more intimate settings about writing, rest, aesthetics, first-century women, Artemis of the Ephesians, head coverings and other cultural practices in the biblical text relating to women, praying lament psalms, infertility, and marriage.
