About Sandra Glahn, Th.M.


Sandra Glahn, Th.M. is adjunct professor, Christian Education and Pastoral Ministries, at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), her alma mater, where she serves as editor in chief of Kindred Spirit magazine. She has completed the course work for her Ph.D. in Aesthetic Studies (Arts and Humanities) at the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition she is the 2010 conference coordinator for the Evangelical Press Association. She serves on the advisory board of Hannah’s Prayer, and is a member of the women's executive committee for bible.org.  

Her books include The Coffee Cup Bible Study series (featuring AMG's Mocha on the Mount; Espresso with Esther; Java with the Judges; Solomon Latte; Cappuccino with Colossians; Premium Roast with Ruth; Frappe with Philippians and Kona with Jonah. She has also written a medical suspense novel Informed Consent (Cook). Her coauthored works include When Empty Arms Become a Heavy Burden: Encouragement for Couples Facing Infertility (Broadman and Holman); Sexual Intimacy in Marriage (now in its third edition) (Kregel); Lethal Harvest (Kregel, a CBA best-selling Christy fiction finalist); Deadly Cure (Kregel); False Positive (WaterBrook); The Infertility Companion (Zondervan); and The Contraception Guidebook: Options, Risks, and Answers for Christian Couples (Zondervan). She has contributed to several additional works, including Genetic Engineering: A Christian Response (Kregel); The Making of a Mentor (Authentic), Insight for Living’s Bible Companion for Women (IFL), Life Savors for Women (Tyndale), Simple Little Words (Cook), Daily Seeds from Women Who Walk in Faith (Moody) and A Faith and Culture Devotional (Zondervan).  

Sandra belongs to the Evangelical Press Association; the Religion Communicators Council; the American Association of Fiction Writers; the Christian Authors Network; the Evangelical Theological Society; and the Society for Biblical Literature. She also serves as the fiction panelist for The Writers View and is a contributing blogger at Tapestry, the bible.org women's site.   

Sandra leads retreats as well as seminars and workshops on marriage, infertility, rest, writing, and a variety of biblical books. She and her husband, Gary, have been married for thirty years and have one daughter, who joined their family through adoption.
